The H-Bandage’s unique design allows for one-handed use under any condition. The unique design of the H-Bandage, with its 8″ thick ABD pad and the unique 5 foot elastic wrap designed for both strength and flexibility along with the H-shaped cinch sewn into the bandage, allows it to satisfy multiple field needs. The H-shaped cinch allows for direct pressure to be applied directly on top of a wound, increasing compression and reducing blood loss.
H&H BANDAGE TEST RESULTS
Clinical tests for arterial bleeding have indicated that the H-Bandage is successful in acting as a hemostat for arterial bleeding in limbs. The testing summary stated:
“The result of this experiment makes it reasonable to suggest that the H-Bandage is a suitable design to enable it to be used as an effective packed-focal pressure dressing for the control of non-amputation peripheral artery limb hemorrhage in soldiers on the battlefield.”
